Thank you for considering Amber Dupree Photography to capture your newborn’s start into this world! I love to capture their tiny details as they are only this small once! Newborn photography sessions are scheduled to take place between 5 – 21 days after birth and are booked ahead of time by reserving your due date. All newborn photography sessions take place in my studio located in Old Hickory (I don’t offer in home sessions at this time). You will not need to bring anything to your newborn session as I provide props, hats, headbands, and everything else needed which helps to create timeless portraits of your newborn baby. The goal is to provide you with a comfortable, luxury experience like no other! All you need to do is show up with your baby and allow me to work my magic while you sit back, relax and watch (or take a nap if you want to).

Session Day
A few days prior to your session you will receive a Newborn Prep Guide to help you prepare you and your little one(s) for the session. I will have everything set up and ready to go before you arrive! We will start with family only posing so please be sure to arrive hair and makeup ready, after that you get to sit back and relax!
In-Person Viewing Session
Within a week following your session you will return to the studio for your viewing session. If you are out of state we will discuss the options available. During your in-person viewing session, we will help you navigate our luxury products to select your images and decide how you would like to enjoy them for lifetimes to come.
Newborn Sesson Includes:
In-person consultation held either in person at the studio or virtually if you are out of state. During the consultation we will further discuss your vision for your session and show you the various, beautiful ways you will be able to display your images.
After booking your newborn session with us, you will also receive a questionnaire that helps us personalize your baby’s session.

“You don’t get these moments back”
During my client’s order drop off, dad said it best “you don’t get these moments back” and I honestly teared up. He’s right, you don’t. You don’t get the time back when your baby is the smallest they will ever be. Although as parents we look forward to watching them grow, a part of us also mourns the memories that have passed. I love that I get to capture these permanent and physical memories for clients to hold forever!
